UPDATE 2006:   After arriving at the RALLY in Daytona Beach, FL April 5th,  Marie and I decided to check out the Vendor's Section for anything we may need for the '03 Mountain Aire.  Turned out, we need a new coach :-) ... so, we opted for a 2006 Country Coach Inspire 360.  Three slides, NO JACKS!!!  It uses the suspension system to level by equalizing the air bags.  Neat!   Makes start up much easier, and doesn't make marks on parking lots or RV park sites.   Each coach we have purchased has been the "One We Keep!" and this one is no different, it has everything one needs to spend a night, week, or month(s) anywhere we happen to stop.   Only time can tell if this is indeed the one!

About CLIFF and MARIE

*******************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************

In 1994, an accident disabled Cliff, and at the time, we lived in a 100 year old farm house in South Knoxville, TN.  Marie had been wanting to build a new house on land overlooking the Tennessee River, and this seemed like the time to make the move.  The new house was to be handicap accessible, with wide doors and only one level.  We started the new house the next year.

Over 5,000 sq. ft. later, we had a brick  rancher, on  a  full  basement,  with plenty of room to have all the toys one needs for retirement.  After selling the old house and moving into the rancher, we began the task of collecting new toys.
The first thing, was a 35 ft., 1993 Winnebago Vectra motorhome, without any slideouts, purchased in 1996.  After several trips out West, we took the plunge in 1999 and went to Alaska with the Good Sam Club.  On the way back from that trip, we went through Mesa, AZ to visit with some friends, where Marie "found" a 38 ft., 1999 Newmar Dutch Star motorhome with a living room slide.  We traded the Vectra in, and drove off in our new Home ... upon arriving back in TN, we decided to just stay in the motorhome, in the back yard, as we were going right back out for a club rally with the local Good Sam Club, the K-Town Sams.  This started a trend.
We would come home, and rather than "move" everything back into the house, we opted to sleep in the motorhome.  We did this for two years, then, in 2002 decided to sell the house and go "Full Time" in the motorhome.  We sold and gave away all the "toys," traded the '99 Dutch Star in on a 40 ft. 2003 Newmar Mountain Aire, with a living room slide and a bedroom slide, moved all our "stuff" and the dog into the MH, and haven't looked back.
